IZTACCIHUATL
The third highest mountain in Mexico, also called “sleeping woman”, is a mountain that has three craters (collapsed) its maximum height is 17,224 feet (5250m), the route to climb it is to travel the edge of the mountain its first Summit is located at 16,600 feet (5060 m) known as “the first knee”, continues climbing until you reach “the second knee”, where the glacier begins “stomach”, then climbs up the ridge to the summit Main, from this point you can see the snowy mountains of Toluca, Malinche, Popocateptl, Copper of Perote and Peak of Orizaba. The view offered by this mountain is one of the best in the mountains of Mexico.
The ascent begins from a place called “La Joya”, located at 13,123 feet (4000 m.), The approximate time to the summit is 7hr. And the descent in 4 hr. Is used as a pre-mountain to climb the Orizaba peak, organizing a three- or four-day acclimatization program prior to climbing the Orizaba peak.

Day 1 :
– Transfer from CDMX to “la joya” (B.C. iztaccihuatl)
– Hiking until 13,000 feet ( 4200 m) and back to B.C.
Day 2:
– Summit day and back to CDMX

– Transfer from Teotihuacan to B.C. Iztaccihuatl
Day 2:
– Hiking light and back to B.C.
Day 3:
Summit day and back to CDMX
